Illinois @ #22 USF

YTD | 20-21-1, -8.15 UN, LAST WEEK | 10-6-1, +5.0 UN

Came back last week strong just like you knew we would after the rough week 1. Another week of game tape to dissect and chew on to make more stacks this week. Let’s go with a Friday Night play!

7:00/ESPN | Illinois (2-0) @ #22 USF (2-0) | USF -17, O/U 55.5

Lovie Smith has the Fighting Illini playing some defense, while Charlie Strong has been fairly disappointing to start the season. USF was expected to absolutely blow out their first two opponents and struggled to put both of them away. They have been turning the ball over, not playing much defense and Flowers just doesn’t seem right at the moment. Illinois has not been very impressive on the offensive side of the ball but they are rock solid on defense thus far. Mike Epstein has been very solid running the ball so far for Illinois as a True FR running back but Chayce Crouch has been very mediocre at QB. I would expect Illinois to run the ball a bit and Crouch to get going against a struggling USF D. This game will be tight all night and I don’t rule out Illinois pulling off this win outright, even though this could be one of the nicest wins on USF’s schedule (sadly enough).

BET | Illinois +17 | 2 UN
