Poinsettia Bowl Money

We’ve started off hot with a 3-1 start to bowl season, which would have been 4-0 if Greg Ward hadn’t decided to make it so obvious that he threw his entire per diem on SDSU in the 2H. One, two bad decisions could be excusable but four picks is inexcusable… I won’t harp too much on one loss. Let’s make some more money on a team that cares…

9:00 / ESPN : BYU (9-2-1,8-4) vs. Wyoming (8-5,8-5) — BYU -10, O/U 57

BYU started out 1-3 with a 1-point loss to @Utah, 3-point loss to UCLA, and 3-point loss to West Virginia. They’ve since beaten Toledo, Michigan St., Mississippi St., and gone 7-1 down the stretch, with the only loss coming on the blue turf in Boise by a point.

Wyoming started out 2-2, then reeled off five straight wins to get to 7-2 before losing three of the last four to settle on 8-5 and this Poinsettia Bowl appearance.

BYU would have easily taken an 8-4 season in August with wins over Arizona, Toledo, Michigan St., Mississippi St., and Cincinnati. Who would have known that all of those would turn out to be under .500 with the exception of Toledo… This is to say that BYU does not have a real quality win outside of the Toledo home shootout by 2.

Wyoming, meanwhile, is throwing a 1,700 yard rusher into this game in Brian Hill and Josh Allen is fully capable of bombing on this BYU secondary. Wyoming will get theirs in a balanced attack.

Tanner Mangum could turn into the key in this game. He can sling it and could absolutely turn some heads in this game with his passing ability. Look out…….

I’m taking Wyoming, as they are way too balanced and explosive to not cover 10 against this team..

BET : Wyoming +10 — 3 Dimes, may need to sprinkle the ML at +290
